KBB Introduces ‘Cheonhyebo Wild-simulated Ginseng Whole-Plant Extract’ Under Its JIGIWON Brand

KBB Co., Ltd. announced that, through joint research with the National Institute of Forest Science under the Korea Forest Service, it has developed the ‘Cheonhyebo Wild-simulated Ginseng Whole-Plant Extract’ under its JIGIWON brand using Wild-simulated Ginseng extraction, and has launched the product on its official SMART Store in NAVER.
The ‘JIGIWON Cheonhyebo Wild-simulated Ginseng Whole-Plant Extract’ is the first case applying patented technology developed by the Forest Medicinal Resources Research Center of the National Institute of Forest Science. The product was also selected and showcased at the official booth of the National Institute of Forest Science during the 16th Korea Forest Expo, recently held in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province.

A KBB representative stated, “Wild-simulated Ginseng whole plant refers to the entire plant, including leaves, stems, and roots. This product was completed by extracting its active compounds under optimal conditions, with careful consideration of nutritional value and absorption.”
The representative added, “We will continue to focus on developing products that maximize the functionality and efficacy of Wild-simulated Ginseng, and further enrich the market through ‘JIGIWON,’ our specialized brand dedicated to Wild-simulated Ginseng, one of Korea’s representative forest medicinal resources.”
Meanwhile, KBB owns, operates, and manages approximately 1.5 million pyeong (about 4.96 million square meters) of private forest land located in Pocheon, where it cultivates Wild-simulated Ginseng and other forest medicinal resources.
KBB also emphasized that it will continue to pursue technological innovation and strengthen its competitiveness in the wild-simulated ginseng industry through ongoing research, patent acquisition, and technology commercialization.
