On May 19, 2025, KBB announced that it has filed two patents with the Korean Intellectual Property Office for technologies designed to maximize the extraction yield and absorption efficiency of Wild-simulated Ginseng.

The patents cover:

1. A specialized needle for Wild-simulated Ginseng extraction and its extraction method
2. A fermentation method for Wild-simulated Ginseng extract

These technologies aim to extract active ingredients more efficiently and enhance their absorption in the body, ultimately maximizing the effectiveness of Wild-simulated Ginseng intake.

Building on this technology, KBB has improved the extraction efficiency of its Wild-simulated Ginseng raw materials and secured a clear competitive edge over conventional Wild-simulated Ginseng concentrate products.
By systematizing complex extraction and fermentation processes, KBB is contributing to the development of scientifically advanced and reliable Wild-simulated Ginseng health products that help consumers absorb active ingredients more easily.

These technologies will be applied first to the company’s Wild-simulated Ginseng brand ‘JIGIWON,’ and KBB plans to continue its R&D efforts to further enhance the quality and functionality of its Wild-simulated Ginseng.
