KFCC-FM Forest Management Certification acquired for Wild-simulated Ginseng cultivation in Pocheon

On December 31, 2024, KBB officially acquired the KFCC Forest Management Certification (KFCC-FM) for its Wild-simulated Ginseng cultivation site located in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province.
This achievement marks the third certification granted for private forests in Korea and the first ever for a Wild-simulated Ginseng cultivation, demonstrating KBB’s commitment to leading forest protection efforts in the country.
This certification is part of the forest certification system operated by the Korea Forestry Promotion Institute under the Korea Forest Service and is mutually recognized with the global forest certification system PEFC, ensuring its international credibility.
Through the KFCC-FM certification, KBB plans to preserve the natural forest ecosystem, prevent illegal deforestation and trade, and deliver tangible benefits to local workers and communities, practicing sustainable forest management in earnest.
KBB has enhanced the credibility and international competitiveness of its Wild-simulated Ginseng cultivation through this certification.
